INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING UP APPLICATION FORMS

1. Read the College Prospectus, Eligibility Criteria for Admission, Admission Procedure and Programme before filling up application forms.

2. Use appropriate Application Form for the respective course of study.

3. Use separate Application Forms for different honours subjects.

4. For Candidates applying for Honours course: Write the Honours Subject applied for in the box provided on the right hand top corner of the application form.

5. Put Tick mark in the appropriate box in Item Number 2 of the application form.

6. Put Tick mark in the appropriate box in Item Number 9 of the application form.

7. Write the name of the institution from which H. S. / equivalent examination was passed in Item Number 11 of the application form.

8. (i) For Candidates applying for Honours course: In Item Number 13 write the Honours Subject applied for in the first box, two General Subjects opted for in the second and the third box and in the fourth box put a Tick mark in the appropriate box. (See College Prospectus and Eligibility Criteria for admission).
(ii) For Candidates applying for General course: In Item Number 13 write three General Subjects opted for in the first, second and the third box and in the fourth box put a Tick mark in the appropriate box. (See College Prospectus).

9. For the purpose of determining eligibility for admission to the Honours Course, aggregate marks at the pre-qualifying examination shall be calculated by adding the marks in TOP FOUR subjects in order of marks secured by a candidates. However, marks in Compulsory Environmental Education/ Studies shall not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate of marks.

If the subject "Environmental Science" is studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, it may be taken into account for the purpose of determining the aggregate marks.
